Foreign reserves position

KARACHI: State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) on Thursday announced that the total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at US$18,655.0 million on 14 August 2015. The break-up of the foreign reserves position is as under: Foreign reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan: US$ 13,615.2 million; Net foreign reserves held by banks US$ 5,039.8 million; total liquid foreign reserves US$ 18,655.0 million.

During the week ending 14 August2015, SBP’s Liquid FX Reserves decreased by US$13million to US$13,615 million, compared to US$13,628 million in the previous week.
