Four alleged criminals arrested in two police encounters

KARACHI: Four alleged criminals were injured during two separate police encounters in city’s different localities in the wee hours of Friday.

According to rescue sources, an encounter occurred near Old Haji camp area in Lyari, where two alleged criminals sustained injuries. The police arrested them in injured condition. The accused, identified as Amjad, 25, son of Yaqoob, and his accomplice Hassan, 30, son of Fida Hussain, and belonging to Lyari, were shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for treatment.

Separately, another encounter took place between police and alleged criminals near Sector 32A at Korangi Link road area. As a result, two criminals were injured. They were identified as Saeed Ali, 29, son of Ali Mohammad, and Dildar, 35, son of Maqbool. They were shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Hospital (JPMC) for treatment.
