Four die in road mishaps

KARACHI: Four people including two women were killed in separate road accidents in the metropolis on Monday.

A woman, Rani, 40, wife of Kamran was killed when a speeding vehicle hit her in Teen Hatti in Liaquatabad area. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for an autopsy.

In another accident, a 45-years-old man was injured when a vehicle hit him on Lyari Expressway. He was brought to Civil Hospital Karachi for treatment where he succumbed to his injuries.

Another woman, aged about 60, was crushed an unidentified speeding vehicle near Charag Hotel in Landhi area. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center for an autopsy.

A man, Zaheer Ahamd, 30, son of Nazir Ahmad was hit by a vehicle near Rexer Bridge in Lyari area. He was shifted to CHK in injured condition where doctors declared him dead.
