Four hurt in Karachi firing incidents

KARACHI: Four people were shot and wounded in separate incidents in the metropolis on Monday.

Rescue sources informed that a teenager, Zain Abbas, 19, a resident of Lines Area, was shot and injured by unidentified armed men near Gilgiti Para area. The injured was brought to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre JMPC for treatment.

In another firing mishap, two youth identified as Naeem, 24, son of Sher Ali, and Sharooz, 25, son of Siddiq, were shot and injured by unknown gunmen in Gulistan-e-Johar area. They belonged to Safoora Goth and taken to the JMPC for treatment.

Similarly, 18-year-old, Ashok, son of Heera, a resident of University Road, was hurt in firing of unknown armed men near Karachi University (KU)on the Main University Road.

The injured was rushed to the JMPC for treatment.
