Four injured in road accident

LANDIKOTAL: Four persons were hurt in a road mishap in Landikotal area, rescue sources informed on Thursday.

A Torkham-bound coach fell in a ravine area here at Chenaro, Mukhtar Khel area of tehsil Landikotal of Khyber Agency.

The 18-seater coach was on its way to its destination in Torkham from Peshawar when it met the accident. The wounded were identified as Amanullah, his wife; Humayun and Maseehullah of Afghanistan. They were shifted to Landikotal hospital.

The cause of the accident was stated to be fast driving, sources said. It is to be mentioned here that light traffic has been diverted to Mukhtar Khel road due to construction of Landikotal-Torkham road.
