Four killed, 23 injured in separate mishaps in Karachi

KARACHI: Four persons, including a woman, were killed and 23 others injured in different incidents in the metropolis on Sunday.

According to details, Halima, 60, wife of Hussein, was killed when an unidentified speeding vehicle hit her near Binnoria town mosque in Guru Mandar area. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for an autopsy.

Azmat Shah, 26, son of Abdul Sattar, was killed and Ashraf Khan, son of Abdul Ghaffar, injured when their car overturned due to over speeding on Shahrah-e-Faisal near Lal Kothi. The body and injured were shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for an autopsy and treatment.

A youth, identified as Ishtiaq, 25, son of Gulberg, was killed and his elder brother Qasim, 22, injured when an unidentified truck hit their motorcycle near Future Colony in Landhi. The body and injured were brought to JPMC for an autopsy and treatment.

Hakim, 18. Son of Abdul-Hameed was electrocuted in the house during working near Navel Colony in Baldia. The body was shifted to Murshid Hospital & Health Care Centre for an autopsy.

A man, identified as Mohammad Yousuf, 50, son of Khalid, was injured when a fire broke out in his house near Nagan Chowrangi. He was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for treatment.

A youth, identified as Piral, 25, son of Dawood, was injured when an unidentified speeding vehicle hit him near Old Sabzi Mandi. He was brought to JPMC for treatment.

In two motorcycles collision, Latif, 40, son of Rasheed, was injured near Dhoraji in Baloch colony area. He was shifted to JPMC for treatment.

Rahim Nawaz, 28, son of Wazir Nawaz, was injured when an unidentified speeding vehicle hit him near Lal Kothi along Shara-e-Faisal. He was shifted to JPMC for treatment.

Mudassir, 25, son of Roshan, was injured when his motorcycle slipped on Shara-e-Faisal near Drigh Road. He was brought to JPMC for treatment.

Amir, 35, son of Murad, and his child Umair, five, were injured when an unidentified vehicle hit their motorcycle near Malir Naddi. They were shifted to JPMC for treatment.

A woman, identified as Irum, 38, and Shehzad, 25, son of Qayyum, were injured when an unidentified speeding vehicle hit their motorcycle near Godam Chowrangi in Korangi. They were shifted to JPMC for treatment.

Mahar-un-Nisa, 60, and his son Jahanzaib, 15, son of Naveed, were injured when an unidentified speeding vehicle hit their motorcycle near Star Gate in Malir. They were shifted to Sindh Government Hospital (SGH) for treatment.

Razzaq, 35, son of Ghulam Ali, and his daughter, Sufaira, 7, were injured when an unidentified speeding vehicle hit their motorcycle near Qayyumabad Chowrangi. They were shifted to JPMC for treatment.

Bashir Ahmed, 22, son of Abdul Sattar, was injured when an unidentified speeding vehicle hit him near Gadani Morr. He was shifted to Civil Hospital Hub (CHH) for treatment.

Nawab, 22, son of Rehman, was injured when he fell down from the roof of a van near Shershah bridge. He was shifted to a local hospital for treatment.

Sajid, 34, son of Waqar, and Nadim, 30, son of Usman, were injured when their motorcycle slipped near Qasim Port. They were shifted to local hospital for treatment.

Aslam, 22, son of Rashid, was injured when his motorcycle slipped near Hussaini Chowrangi, in Landhi. He was shifted to JPMC for treatment.

In two motorcycle collision, a woman, identified as Nadia, 25, wife of Saqib, was injured. She was shifted to JPMC for treatment.

An unidentified youth, aged around 25, was injured when his motorcycle hit by another motorcycle near PSO petrol pump in Chakiwara. He was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for treatment.

Tahir, 50, son of Yaqoob, was injured when an unidentified speeding vehicle hit him near Jahangir Road in Musharraf colony. He was shifted to JPMC for treatment.
