Four killed, four injured in separate incidents

KARACHI:,,, Four people were killed and four others injured in separate incidents in the city on Friday. A teenager boy, Nawaz, 17, son of Riaz, was killed when fatally hit by train in Quaidabad near Murgi Khana. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for medico-legal formalities.

An unidentified man, aged 30, was killed when a vehicle hit him on Natha Khan Goth in Shah Faisal Town. The body was shifted to JPMC for post-mortem examination.

Muhammad Iqbal, 26, son of Muhammad Ramzan, was electrocuted during work on a grinder machine in Abaseen Company in Green City, Quaidabad. The body was shifted to JPMC for post-mortem examination.

Separately, 25-year-old young man, Farrukh, was electrocuted while Farhan, 30, and his father Khurshid, 50, were injured due to electric shocks during doing some electricity work at home in Orangi Town No 13.

The body and injured were brought to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for an autopsy and treatment respectively.

In another incident two men were injured. Asim, 30, son of Abdul Rahim, and Naeem, 28, son of Ghulam Nabi, received burn injuries when a fire broke out in a factory in New Karachi Block-3-L near Naz Manzil. The injured were shifted to ASH for treatment.
