Four killed, one injured in Karachi

KARACHI: Four people were killed and one other injured in different violence incidents in the city on Monday. According to rescue sources, unidentified gunmen opened fire on some persons aged from 25 to 40 years in Kashti Wali Building at Bengali Para of Korangi 2 ½, injuring three of them. They were rushed to a private hospital where they succumbed to their injuries. Later, bodies were shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for autopsy.

A man, Akber, 45, was gunned down by unidentified armed men in Koragi 3 1/2. The body was shifted to JPMC for medico-legal formalities.

Yet in another incident, a man, Shiraz, 26, son of Nawaz, was shot and injured by unidentified armed man. He was rushed to Civil Hospital Karachi for treatment.
