SIALKOT: Four persons including two married women were killed in separate incidents in district here on Wednesday.
In Begowala, Sambrial tehsil, a local farmer Iftikhar Ahmed was shot dead by four armed accused including Muhammad Imran, Naseem Bibi and Shah Muhammad at his home over a land dispute. Accused fled away by firing in the air.
In Nai Abadi Bangla- Sambrial, local landlord Muhammad Ilyas’ son Adeel was allegedly tortured to death by ten accused armed with wooden sticks, iron roads, hockey sticks and cricket bats over an old enmity. Accused fled away. Sambrial police have registered a murder case against ten accused including Faisal Qayyum, Mudassar Qayyum, Aleem, Kaleem, Abdul Qayyum and Babar Hussain with no arrest, in this regard.
In Daska city’s congested Mission Compound locality, a married woman Noureen was allegedly poisoned to death by her husband Zaigham Waseem over a domestic dispute. Police have registered a murder case against the accused and shifted the dead body to Daska Civil Hospital for autopsy, with no arrest, in this regard.
In village Fatehpur-Pasrur, a married woman Sumera Bibi was allegedly strangulated to death by her accused husband Ibrar Hussain and her in-laws. Pasrur Saddar police have registered a murder case against the accused, with no arrest.
