Four suspects killed in shootouts

KARACHI: Four suspects including two alleged terrorists were killed in police encounters in different parts of the metropolis on Monday.

Police said, two terrorists, Abrar, 36, and Munir, 40, were killed during an encounter when they conducted a raid on secret information in Khajji Ground in Rizvia Society.

The bodies were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.

The police said the terrorists opened fire on them and in the retaliatory fire both of the banned outfit members were killed. One SMG, hand grenade and a pistol were recovered from there.

In another raid two car lifters were killed by Anti Car lifting Cell during a shootout near Northern Bypass in Manghopir area. The bodies were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico-legal formalities.

Police said killed dacoits were involved in different cases of car snatching in the city. Weapons and snatched motorcycle was also seized from them.
