FPCCI denounces deadly attack that killed Punjab home minister

KARACHI: Mian Mohammad Adrees, President of Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI) alongwith other office-bearers and SM Muneer, Leader of the Business Community & Former President of FPCCI; Iftikhar Ali Malik, former President of FPCCI; Zubair Tufail and other high hierarchy of FPCCI have condemned the cowardly act of terrorism that resulted in martyrdom of Punjab Home Minister Shuja Khanzada and 15 other people besides injuring more than 20 others.

Expressing their grieve and sorrow on the tragic assassination of the minister who was at the forefront in the ongoing fight against militants and banned sectarian groups, they said that the whole nation, including the business community, is united against the eradication of terrorism and determined to make our country the land of peace and tranquillity. “Such cowardly attempts cannot dent our national resolve to eliminate the menace,” they added.

Paying glorious tribute to Shuja Khanzada, the high hierarchy of FPCCI leadership said. They said he was a bold officer whose sacrifice for the greater cause of cleansing Pakistan would not go waste. “The courage and valour of Shuja Khanzada is a message to the masterminds of terrorists and war lords that they are bound to be defeated” they warned.

The top brass of FPCCI leadership urged Prime Minister Mian Mohammad Nawaz Sharif and General Raheel Sharif, Chief of Army Staff to track down the perpetrators involved in the deadly attack on the minister and other innocent people.
