FPCCI: (FPCCI condemns cowardly attack on Rashid Godil)

ISLAMABAD: The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) on Wednesday strongly condemned the cowardly act of assassination on MQM MNA Rashid Godil, who is stated to be in critical condition in hospital and his driver expired on the spot.

FPCCI President Mian Mohammad Adrees, alongwith other office bearers and S.M. Muneer, leader of the business community and former President of FPCCI, Iftikhar Ali Malik, former President of FPCCI, Zubair Tufail and other high hierarchy of FPCCI have condemned the cowardly act of assassination on MNA Rashid Godil.

They, while expressing their grief and sorrow on the cowardly attack on Rashid Godil, said that it is carried out to sabotage the current operation against the terrorism.

They further said that the whole nation, including the business community, is united against the eradication of terrorism and determined to make our country the land of peace and tranquillity.

They said that such dastardly / cowardly attempts cannot dent our national resolve to eliminate the menace of terrorism. “We all prey for early recovery of Rashid Godil who is an important parliamentarian of Pakistan”, they added.

The FPCCI leadership urged the Prime Minister Mian Mohammad Nawaz Sharif and General Raheel Sharif, Chief of Army Staff, to track down the perpetrators of this brutal attack and initiate iron handed proceeding against them and award them an exemplary punishment as these terrorists are in final stages of their elimination due to current operation against them.
