GBLA Polls: (Scrutiny of nomination papers begins in GB)

ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission Gilgit Baltistan on Tuesday started scrutiny of nomination papers which would continue till May 4.

According to a report, 486 candidates from seven districts of Gilgit Baltistan (GB) have submitted their nomination papers against 24 seats of Gilgit Baltistan Legislative Assembly (GBLA).

Last date for filing appeals against acceptance or rejection of the nomination papers is May 8. Last date for withdrawal of candidature and publication of revised list will be made on May 17, while polling will be held on June 8.
