Germany appreciated for providing police equipment

KARACHI: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sindh Iqbal Mehmood on Monday appreciated and thanked the Government of Germany for providing modern equipment to Sindh police through German Consul General Dr Tilo Klinner.

This he said while addressing a ceremony pertaining to modern equipment handing over to Sindh police, held at Central Police Office Karachi. He said that all matters regarding police reforms in support and cooperation of German government were commendable.

Mehmood said that to deal with the challenges faced in the current circumstances, the police officials needed training and modern equipment.

He said that for effective results in operational and investigation matters, training measures of police officers would be continued according to new courses and system. He hoped that German government would continue its support in this regard.

German Consul General said that help and support of German government would be continued for making Sindh police standard and efficient.
