Girl killed, four injured in Lyari cracker attack

KARACHI: A minor girl was killed and four other persons, including two women, were critically injured when unknown armed motorcyclists threw a cracker in Chakiwara area, Lyari, here on Monday.

The killed girl was identified as Rasheeda, 02, daughter of Deen Mohammad, while injured included two women, Humaira Gul, 30, Gul Jabeen, 32, and two men, Anwar, 32, and Ibraheem, 30.

Police and rescue teams were rushed to the site of incident, while rescue teams shifted the body and injured to Civil Hospital Karachi for an autopsy and treatment respectively.

The localities of Lyari came under grip of tense situation soon after the cracker attack.
