Girl’s murder case: Three accused remanded to police till 16 August

KARACHI: An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Wednesday handed over three suspects to police on physical remand till 16 August 2015 for their alleged involvement in kidnapping and murdering a girl.

The Sachal police produced three accused Abid, Sher Mohammad, and Imran before ATC-I judge under tight security. Investigation Officer (IO) requested the court to grant physical remand of accused as they are required for further investigation. The court accepted the police’s request and handed over the accused to them.

According to the prosecution, the accused had kidnapped a seven-year old girl Aamra, demanded Rs 200,000 ransom for her safe release, but later killed her.
