Girls shine in Intermediate Science Pre-Medical exam

Karachi: Controller of examinations Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) Mohammad Imran Khan Chishti here Monday announced the result of Higher Secondary Certificate Part-II (Intermediate) Science annual examination 2015 Pre-Medical group.

Overall 21142 candidates were registered and 20855 appeared in the exam. As many as 10423 candidates passed the exam, making 48.98% pass percentage.

Karishma Kumari daughter of Sono Mal of DA Degree College for Women Phase VIII stood first with 90.82percent marks, Rimsha Irfan daughter of Irfan Ahmed of Sir Syed Govt Girls College Nazimabad stood second with 89.82percent, and Hira daughter of Iqbal Naviwala of Agha Khan Higher Secondary School grabbed the third position with 89.55percent.

The fourth and fifth positions were also claimed by girl students, while a boy Mohammad Anas Siddiqui son of Mohammad Siddiq of D J Government Science College took the sixth position.
