Islamabad: Federal and provincial governments have stepped up efforts to provide every possible facility to Internally Displaced People of North Waziristan.
In a statement, FATA Disaster Management Authority said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has directed all concerned departments to take care of the IDPs and that there should be no complaint from them.
FDMA said about two thousand tents have been erected at the IDPs camp in Bannu, but most of the families are preferring to live with their relatives in the settled areas of Bannu, Tank, Lakki and D.I.Khan. Each displaced family is paid twelve thousand rupees at the time of registration.
