Governor assures all-out assistance to Chinese investors

KARACHI: Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan has said that despite difficulties the friendship of Pakistan and China will further grow day by day and its main reason is the love and faith between the people of both countries.

He expressed these views at a reception given in honour to a business delegation of Pakistan-China Friendship Association at Governor House on Saturday.

He said that coordination between Pakistan and China is ideal in every respect which is unprecedented in the world. He said that China has always remained a trusted friend of Pakistan. He said the agreements signed on the visit of Chinese President to Pakistan is the evidence of that China wants to see Pakistan stable economically and as a more developed nation.

Ebad said that economic coordination between both countries has been accelerated after the agreements of China-Pakistan Free Trade in 2007 and the trade volume between the both countries has reached $13 billion. He said that interest of Chinese investors especially in energy and communication sectors will support Pakistan grows faster.

He said that Pak-China Economic Corridor is a splendid and unprecedented project and the projects of 46 billion dollars will open new doors for economic development. He said that economic corridor passing through the large parts of the country would not only create thousands of new jobs but also enhance business activities.

Governor said that every possible facility is being provided to Chinese investors in Pakistan and it would help to enhance the investment in the country.

On this occasion, the leader of China-Pakistan Friendship Association thanked Pakistan for such a hospitality. He said that Economic Corridor is reflective of the excellent relations of both countries. He said that the exchange of delegations of associations will remain continue on a regular basis.
