QUETTA: Eidul Azha gives us lesson of sacrifice and following sunnah of prophet Ibrahim (AS).
This was stated by Balochistan Governor Mohammad Khan Achakzai and Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch in their Eidul Azha message being celebrated on Friday.
In his message Governor Achakzai said that service of creatures of Almighty Allah, deserving and orphans and joining them in our pleasures is real message of Eid and philosophy.
He said Eidul Azha is celebrated in memory of supreme sacrifice of Hazrat Ibrahim (AS) which he rendered to seek blessings of Allah Almighty. History of world cannot present any such example in which he desired to sacrifice his son in the way of Allah almighty.
Today is the day to negate our person, sacrifice of personal ego and interests to serve for the progress of country and nation, prosperity of its people through the spirit of brotherhood and unity.
He said in view of Mina incident Eid should be celebrated with simplicity. Dua shod be offered for eternal peace of martyrs and early recovery of injured people.
Chief Minister Dr Malik Baloch said on today down trodden, poor and deserving people should be specially included in our happiness. Such people should be extended help who deserve this.
He said nations and societies imbued with spirit of sacrifice can never fall.
He paid tributes to Police, levies and security forces men for their sacrifices for the security of law and property of people and establishing peace in the country and in Balochistan.
He said those who sacrifice for other’s security without caring of their own lives are great and heroes of society.
