Govt is putting efforts for the transparent system for improvement of the quality of life of FATA

Peshawar: The Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sardar Mahtab Ahmed Khan said that the Government is putting its utmost effort for the transparent and effective system for the improvement of the quality of life of FATA.

For this purpose, FATA Reforms Commission is formed on the wishes of the people of FATA which will implement these reforms with true spirit. He said that reforms strategy was being formulated to determine the scope and plans of development in FATA.

This he said while chairing a high level meeting, regarding FATA Reforms commission here at Governor’s House on Tuesday. Mr. Ejaz Qureshi Chairman (FRC), Mir Laiq Shah (member) and Musarrat Qadim (member) have also attended the meeting.

Mr. Ejaz Qureshi gave a detailed presentation regarding the strategy and proposals of FATA Reforms Commission which entails issues pertaining to legal, constitutional, social sector and administrative matters of FATA.

The Governor reviewed the performance of FATA Reforms Commission. Furthermore, while referring to various points, the Governor emphasized that well being of the tribal people would be ensured so that they could play their role in nation building process.

Moreover, the Governor said that community based schools and health delivery systems should be introduced in FATA which will benefit the people of FATA on long term bases. The Governor said that these reforms should be based on modern technology so that people of FATA should be benefited with real and practical approach.

Mr. Ejaz Qureshi expressed his gratitude to Governor Sardar Mahtab Ahmad Khan for his support, guidance and trust.
