Govt serving people without any political discrimination, says minister

SIALKOT: Federal Minister for Water and Power and Defence Khawaja Muhammad Asif has said that country was successfully moving towards the goal of economical and political stability and national prosperity.

He said political agenda of the PML-N government was to serve the people without any political discrimination. He stated this while addressing the party workers at PML-N House Sialkot city here Sunday.

He said early rehabilitation of the Temporarily Displaced Persons (TDPs) was the top priority of the government, as the TDPs had been rendering precious sacrifices shoulder to shoulder with the armed forces of Pakistan in war against terrorism, militancy and insurgency in tribal areas of the country.

He said whole of the nation stood united against terrorism and urged all the politicians to come forward and sit together to find out the amicable solution to all the problems being faced by the country and the nation.

He said it was not the time to do politics of conflicts for dividing the nation. He said now the masses had become politically matured and they had strongly rejected all the anti-democratic and anti-state conspiracies and the negative politics of conflict by the Dharna people in the country.

He said some political elements were trying to create political uncertainty by promoting the negative and conflicted politics in the country, causing severe economic losses to the country.

He said conspiracy behind the politics of conflict was to create political and economical instability in the country. He said government was successfully implementing its political agenda of social development and serving the masses without any political discrimination. He also listened the problems of the people and issued on the spot directions for their solution.
