Hajj (President, PM express condolence over tragic incident in Mina)

Islamabad: More than two hundred Hujjaj have been martyred and about 400 injured in an stamped in Mina Saudi Arabia on Thursday.

According to Arab TV and Saudi civil defence these Hujjaj were martyred and injured when they were busy in stoning satan in Jamarat.

The incident took place near Maktib Number ninety-three were mostly Algerian Pilgrims are staying.

Red alert has been issued in the hospital particularly Mina where the injured Hujjaj are being shifted.

It is the second incident during the current Hajj seasons after a crane collapse in a Masjid-e-Haram.

The Foreign office says that information regarding the incident and well-being of Pakistani Hujjaj are being collected. It said that Pakistani Embassy is in touch with Saudi Authorities in this regard.

The report say that the despite tragic incident stoning is underway in Jamarat.

Meanwhile, President Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif have expressed condolence over the tragic incident in Mina.

He has directed Ministry of Hajj and Foreign Affairs to remain in contact with the Saudi authorities for the well-being of Pakistani Hujjaj in Mina.
