Hamza meets Pankaj in Asian Snooker Championship climax

Karachi: Pakistan cueist Hamza Akbar thrashed Malaysian Mohammad Reza in semifinals and has set final date with India’s Pankaj Advani in 31st Asian Snooker Championship 2015 underway in Kuala Lumpur.

According to information made available here, Hamza, who reached semifinals after beating compatriot Shahram Changezi convincingly by 5-1 sets, overpowered local cueists Reza easily by 6-2 sets. The comprehensive scores were 27-66, 85-05, 115-6, 69-25, 33-72, 90-56, 103-0, 77-04.

Hamza will now meet Indian ace cueist Pankaj Advani in the summit clash today (Thursday).
