Head money on killers on traffic cops

KARACHI: Deputy Inspector General of Police, Traffic Karachi, Dr Amir Ahmed Shaikh on Thursday announced Rs 2.5million head-money on criminals who were behind the killing of six traffic constables in Karachi last week.

Dr Amir said those people who would identify the criminals or provide credible information about them would be given cash prize of Rs2.5million and his/her name would be kept secret.

He said that on the special directives of IGP Sindh Ghulam Hyder Jamali, no one is allowed from traffic police to regulate traffic alone due to security threats.

In all spots there must be four constables, two to regulate the traffic and two to defying if they see any unwanted situation, he added.

He suggested public to cooperate with police if they check their motorbikes as the criminals were seen on the motorbikes and escaped after killing our soldiers.
