Health dept to expand anti-dengue drive

Karachi: During the ongoing drive against dengue virus, thousands of awareness pamphlets were distributed among the students of government Girls Elementary School Gulistan Colony and Government Boys Primary School Gulistan Colony Lyari.

On the occasion Incharge Dengue Program, Dr. Masood Solangi also briefed the students about dengue virus.

Besides this, in a statement issued here Sindh Health Minister Dr Mehtab Hussain has said that ongoing drive against Dengue Virus will continue till 10 September in Karachi while its canvas will be expended to Hyderabad, Thatta, Tando Allah Yar, Badin and Mirpurkhas in next phase.

He added, ‘After completion of these districts, the drive against Dengue virus will go in remaining districts of Sindh.’ It is mentioned here that during the awareness campaign 5 lac awareness pamphlets will be distributed.
