High Commissioner of Malaysia calls  on Governor

Peshawar: High Commissioner of Malaysia in Pakistan, H.E. Dato’ Dr. Hasrul   Sani bin Mujtabar called on the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor, Sardar Mahtab Ahmad Khan here at Governor’s House, Peshawar on Thursday.

The distinguished guest remained with the Governor for some time and discussed matters of mutual interest with special reference to the situation in the region.

The Governor also highlighted the steps underway for ensuring sustainable peace and stability particularly in FATA and pointed out that government is taking the respective people along in all its measures for ensuring better future for them.

Talking on various points, the governor also apprised the high commissioner about the steps and endeavors of the government to ensure the dignified return and rehabilitation of TDPs in FATA. He said socio-economic uplift of the people of FATA will continue to remain a top priority with special focus on bringing further improvement in working of healthcare system and educational facilities in the area.

The Governor also welcomed the International community for their support in further strengthening the ongoing efforts of the government in this regard.
