KARACHI: The President, Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) KSA Chapter, Muhammad Iqbal, met the Ambassador of Pakistan in Saudi Arabia, Muhammad Naeem Khan, at his office recently to bid him farewell.
Khayyam Akbar, Deputy Ambassador in KSA, was also present on the occasion. Iqbal conveyed the appreciation on behalf of the KSA Chapter and presented him with a memento in recognition of his whole hearted and continuous support to the Chapter in the capacity of its patron-in-chief since inception.
Naeem Khan acknowledged the efforts of the ICAP KSA Chapter and said that the recent years had witnessed remarkable progress in the bilateral relationship between the two accountancy bodies of Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, namely SOCPA and ICAP.
He has been appointed as the Assistant Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Co-operation (OIC). The president also wished him good luck in his future endeavours. Naeem Khan, who served as Pakistan ambassador in KSA, for over three years, holds the distinction for serving in major Pakistani missions including Washington, Beijing, Sanaa and Madrid.
