ISLAMABAD: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) will organize a two-day conference on Public Financial Management (PFM) here on November 24 and 25.
The conference is being organized here at Serena Hotel. The conference aims to highlight the importance of effective PFM in the development of a country.
The conference will be addressed by members of International Public Sector Accounting Standard Board of the International Federation of Accountants, senior officials from the World Bank and USAID, Chairman and CEO of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy, UK, delegates from SAARC countries, Provincial Finance Secretaries, and the lawmakers.
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP), established in 1961 by an ordinance of the Government, regulates the profession of accountancy. The institute has been assisting Pakistani business and industry in augmenting the level of professional competence and financial services and bringing them at par with world class professional enterprises.
