IDPS camps to be established in govt: schools

Peshawar: The District Administration will make schools buildings of the Elementary & Secondary Education Department (E&SE) in Bannu, Lakki Marwat, Tank, Karak and Hangu districts available for accommodating the IDPs from areas affected due to military operation. According to details; Headmasters of concerned schools alongwith watch men and other required staff will be on duty. School furniture and other belonging to be properly recorded and kept in safe custody.

Wash Rooms and availability of drinking water be ensured. Headmasters will also maintain data of IDPs camped in the school. DEOs will nominate focal persons to supervise the schools and provide details to the E&SE Department. The District Officers and teachers will follow instructions of District Administration regarding establishing camps in schools.

District Education Officers have also been directed to make available schools buildings to District Administration on their demand, says an official letter issued by the E&SE Department, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa addressed to DEO (Male/Female), Bannu, Lakki Marwat, Tank, Karak and Hangu.
