KARACHI: IGP Sindh Ghulam Hyder Jamali on Tuesday reviewed progress in investigation of the high profile murder cases of director of The 2nd Floor Sabeen Mehmood, SHO Preedy police station Ijaz Ali Khawaja and US citizen Debra Lobo in a meeting with senior police officers at Central Police Office.
He directed the relevant DIGs, district and investigation SSPs present in the meeting to submit report every 24 hours over the progress of the cases. Additional IG Karachi Ghulam Qadir Thebo, additional IG crime and DIGs of headquarters Sindh, zone South, special branch, zone West, zone East and CIA were also present on the occasion.
Zonal DIGs South and East told the meeting that police were getting benefit from modern and advanced scale techniques.
IG Sindh directed the police that process of collecting evidences from crime scene should be strengthened by securing crime scene and coordination with intelligence and other agencies should be ensured to bring such cases to justice as soon as possible.
