IGP orders security across Sindh

KARACHI: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sindh Iqbal Mehmood on Thursday instructed DIGs to ensure security for protecting life and property of people by controlling law and order situation in Karachi and other parts of Sindh.

Mehmood said that extraordinary security measures should be taken at police station level for mosques, Imambargahs and madaris on the eve of Jummatul Mubarak.

He instructed DIGs to ensure security measures at sensitive places, government buildings, education centers, missionary schools, minorities holy places and residential areas of foreign people.
