Implementation of Ramazan Package begins today

Islamabad: The two billion rupees Ramazan Package announced by the government will begin through utility stores today Monday. Utility Stores Corporation spokesman has said there will be five to ten percent reduction in the prices of over fifteen hundred items under the package to provide relief of common man in the holy month of Ramazan. Under this package, the prices of oil, ghee, rice and pulses will see a decline of ten rupees per kilo.  There will also be ten rupee per kilo decrease in the price of basin, packed milk, and dates. The price of 20 kilogram flour bag will be reduced by 120 rupees and it will be available to the consumers at 655 rupees.
