Indian forces firing

SIALKOT: The Indian Border Security Forces (BSF), resorted unprovoked intensified firing on villages in Charwah Sector of Sialkot Working Boundary here Saturday.

According to the senior officials of the Chenab Rangers, the Indian BSF resorted unprovoked firing on villages in Charwah Sector. BSF also fired some mortar shells there. The Indian shelling created panic among the local people.

The Chenab Rangers retaliated effectively in befitting manner, making the Indian guns silent there.

CR officials added that Indian BSF continued firing for about fifteen minutes there from 10:00 am to 10:15 am.

No loss of life or any injury was reported, the senior CR officials confirmed here.
