Indus Hospital sets up dialysis centre at PIB

Karachi: The Indus Hospital took another major step in its commitment to provide free quality health care with the inauguration of Family Medicine and a 20 bedded dialysis centre in the locality of PIB Colony. The centre is established in response to the ever-increasing need for high quality dialysis care.

The dialysis centre was inaugurated by Mufti Rafi Usmani, President – Dar-ul-Uloom, Korangi Karachi. On this occasion, Mufti Rafi Usmani lauded the efforts of Indus Hospital’s team and continuous support of philanthropists, which enabled provision of International standard medical services to the poor and needy without any discrimination and at no charge. Mufti Rafi Usmani was also given a brief tour of the facility by Dr. Ashar Alam, Associate Medical Director of The Indus Hospital.

Dr. Syed Zafar Zaidi, Medical Director of The Indus Hospital said that the inauguration of this Dialysis centre has only been possible because of the continuous hard work of the team members, strong support from Donors and the dedication of the Project Manager (Dr. Ashraf Shamshad ali) in activation of this centre. He added that The Indus Hospital has gone a long way in providing free of cost top quality care and intends to expand the facilities nationwide.

With the inauguration of this comprehensive Dialysis Centre, the residents of Karachi and specifically the residents of areas near PIB colony have access to a high quality dialysis centre with highly professional doctors and dialysis technicians absolutely free of cost.
