Info Minister criticizes PTI for lesser allocation of funds for important sectors in KP

Islamabad:,,, Information Minister Senator Pervaiz Rashid has urged PTI Chief Imran Khan to concentrate on good governance in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to media reports Pervaiz Rashid said PTI has allocated lesser funds than that of PML-N for education, health, agriculture, and other sectors.

He said PTI has allocated 21.49 percent of the budget for education in KPK whereas the PML-N government in Punjab allocated 27.3 percent of the budget.

In health sector, PTI government allocated 6.17 whereas the PML-N-led Punjab government allocated 12.1 percent of the budget. The PTI government allocated 0.39 percent and PML-N 1.49 percent for the agriculture sector.

He said that all this reflects the priorities of the PTI Government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The minister said that the federal government did not increase salaries of ministers whereas the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has doubled the salaries of its ministers.
