Islamabad: President Mamnoon Hussain has said that the government is giving priority to ensure internal security and revive economy.
Addressing convocation of the National Defense University in Islamabad on Thursday, he said the nation and its armed forces have stood together and made invaluable sacrifices, despite all challenges.
The President expressed the hope that Pakistan will soon overcome economic crisis. He said energy crisis will be resolved during the tenure of the incumbent government.
Mamnoon Hussain said people want Pakistan to be a peaceful and prosperous country. He said all segments of society will have to play their role to make the country corruption-free.
The President said war against terrorism will continue till elimination of terrorists.
He said people of Pakistan are very courageous and valiant and will overcome all challenges by adopting a united national agenda.
