Iranian Consul General calls on Bilawal

KARACHI: Iranian Consul General in Karachi Mehdi Subhani called on Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party, at Bilawal House today and exchanged views on mutual interests.

The Consul General extended invitation to Bilawal to visit Iran, especially the city of Mashhad, which is declared as Sister City of Karachi.

Mehdi said both Pakistan and Iran enjoy good brotherly relations in every field. He said that Pak-Iran Gas Pipeline project inaugurated by former President Asif Ali Zardari made history.

Bilawal thanked the Consul General for inviting him to visit Iran and appreciated improvement in brotherly tied between the two countries. He said Pak-Iran Gas Pipeline is a big achievement. He said Pakistan valued the cooperation from Iran in the fields of Health and Education, including the Flood Hospital in Badin.
