ISPR: (Four-nation conference on Afghan peace process next month)

ISLAMABAD: The first round of four-nation conference on Afghan peace process will be held early next month and a comprehensive road map for meaningful Afghan peace process to be worked out during first round.

An understanding to this effect was reached during meetings between Army Chief General Raheel Sharif and Afghan President Ashraf Ghani and Chief Executive Abdullah Abdullah in Kabul on Sunday.

According to an ISPR statement, a clear and comprehensive roadmap for a meaningful Afghan peace process will be worked out during the first round. A hotline contact will be established between the Directors General of Military Operations and frequency of military to military visits increased for better coordination.
