Peshawar: Jan Mohammad, a resident of Peshawar has appealed to the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Inspector General of Police (IGP) to take action against his opponent for involving him in fake terrorism case only for getting monetary benefit.
Speaking at a news conference here at Press Club on Monday, he said that the court acquitted him honourably but it was now the responsibility of the government to take action against him as to why he involved him in fake terrorism case.
He alleged that his widow sister’s brother-in-law was giving him life threat now when he failed to remarry his sister. He said his brother-in law Nasir Khan died but his brother Major Khan approached his sister for re marriage on the third day ignoring the Islamic injunctions only to get his property and money.
He alleged that Major Khan implicated him (Jan) in fake case of terrorism because of supporting his widow sister and informed the local police in this regard. The police, he said put him behind bars and started investigation but found him innocent.
