JI concerns over election commission attitude

KARACHI: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi chapter Amir Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman on Saturday showed concern over the performance of Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) in Karachi and alleged that delay in polling process is a conspiracy.

Talking to media, Naeem said that election procedure was deliberately delayed to rig the election by creating sudden rush of people in polling stations. He said no rangers personnel were deployed in most of the polling stations in Karachi.

He said police is handing the security measures in area of Bohri Community in North Nazimabad and few police personnel are not taking action at many polling stations.
