JI election campaign in full swing

Karachi: Jamaat e Islami’s spokesman, Amirul Azeem, has said that the JI had started full-fledged preparations to win the Karachi by election, and the Ameer, JI, Senator Sirajul Haq had cancelled his other preoccupations for the next few days so as to lead the election campaign of the JI candidate from NA 246, Karachi, Rashid Naseem.

Accordingly, the JI would hold big election rallies, an Ulema Convention and a women convention within next couple of days, he added.

The JI Spokesman said that the JI had rendered huge sacrifices in the constituency and a big majority of the area people was with the JI.

The JI had won elections in the constituency twice in the past and it was present, it was enjoying the support of the religious as well as political circles in the area.

The religious forces including the JUI and the JUP in the area had already joined the JI election campaign while the PML-N leadership had assured full support to the JI candidate.

The Spokesman was confident that if the elections were fair, free and transparent, the JI would come out victorious.
