JI invites scholars to attend Lahore congregation

KARACHI: Jamaat e Islami (JI) here Saturday said the process of inviting leaders of religious, political parties, scholars and cleric for their big Ijitma to be held on 21, 22 and 23 November 2014 at Minar-e-Pakistan is under way.

In this regard, Amir JI Karachi chapter Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman met with Chairman of Ruiet-e-Hilal committee Pakistan Mufti Maneeb-ur-Rehman and famous Islamic scholar, Shaikh-ul-Hadees Moulana Asfand Yar Wali on Saturday.

On this occasion, Secretary of JI Karachi Abdul Wahab, deputy Amirs Barjees Ahmed, Muslim Parvez, Moulana Abdul Waheed of Jamiat Ittehad-ul-Ulema, Secretary Information of JI Karachi Zahid Askari and others were present.

During the meeting the leaders discussed the issues of mutual understanding related to various aspect of Pakistan.

On this occasion, Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman and Moulana Asfandyar Wali gave their best wishes and said the Lahore congregation called by JI in the current situations of Pakistan is a positive step.

They said JI Amir Siraj-ul-Haq has performed a positive role in the politics of Pakistan and tried to solve the problems with mutual understanding. They lauded him for his steps for unity of Ummah and harmony of interfaith.

They said that they would support any person who struggle for the unity of Ummah and brotherhood in this country, so that the nation could get rid of domestic crisis.
