KARACHI: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi Chief Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman has claimed that the public congregation of Jamaat-e-Islami to be scheduled from November 21 to 23 at Minar-e-Pakistan Lahore will be a proof of a milestone for bringing true Islamic revolution in the country.
He expressed these views in a luncheon reception hosted by JI Karachi in the honour of newly elected office-bearers of Karachi Union of Journalists (KUJ) Dastoor at Idara-e-Noor Haq here on Thursday.
Speaking at the occasion, Naeem said that the Islamic movements across the world were working against western powers and JI was also playing its due role in this regard.
JI Naib Ameer Karachi Osama Razi, Secretary Information Zahid Askari and other JI leaders were also present on the occasion.
The JI Karachi Naib Ameer and Information Secretary congratulated the newly-elected office-bearers of KUJ and assure their full cooperation towards the issues faced by the journalists’ community.
On the occasion, President KUJ (Dastoor), Afsar Imran, thanked the JI leadership for expressing its support towards the journalists’ community.
President KUJ Dastoor vowed that the newly elected office-bearers will ensure redressal of the issues being faced by the journalists. On the occasion, General Secretary KUJ Dastoor Shaoib Ahmed introduced the newly elected office-bearers with the JI leadership.
