Peshawar: Jamaat-e-Islami on Thursday organized rallies and function on Kashmir Solidarity Day and demanded of of the United Nations to plays its role and implement the resolutions of giving right of self determination to Kashmiri people.
Marching from Nashtarabad workers of Jamat-e-Islami were holding banners and and placards inscribed of slogans in support of self determination for Kashmiri people.
workers of Jamat-e-Islami chanted slogans against Indian occupation and urged UN for interference to stop India from suppressing the voice of Kashmiri people who are struggling for independence.
JI workers after the rally participated in a function which was addressed by Professor Mohammad Ibrahim Khan, Mushtaq Ahmad Ghani, provincial minster for information and broadcasting, district chief of Jamat-e-Islami Sabir Hussain Awan, Shaukat Yousafzai, Professor Adnan Sarver Khan oand others.
They said federal government must highlight the Kashmir issue in impressive way at international level as the issue had gone to back drop during the past governments.
They said thousands of Kashmiries have been martyred in the struggle of independence but still India has been failed to eliminate the zeal of Kashmiri people who are not ready to live with India and want independence from its occupation.
on this occasion school children presented Tableau in which it was shown that how Indian forces are using brutal forces against the people of Kashmir.
