Justice needed to solve problems of poor: JI

SETHARJA: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Sindh General secretary Mamataz Hussain Sehto Advocate said on Wednesday that JI would run a campaign “Islamic and Prosperous Pakistan” from 3rd to 15th April for peace and prosperity, elimination of poverty, unrest, inflation and incompetent leadership and enrol 10 million members through this campaign to make Pakistan an Islamic welfare state.

He was expressing his views in meeting with people during a mass contact campaign in Setharja, district Khairpur. District Amir Dur Mohammad Khaskheli and Imtiaz Hussain Sehto were also present.

Sehto said people of Sindh have always give vote to Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) with a hope that it would change their fortune, but unfortunately, today the people of Sindh are deprived of everything from health and education to water, while the personal coffers of the rulers are stuffed with corruption money.

He said only justice system of Islam and an honest leadership could ensure solving the problems of the poor. He said in this regard, JI is playing its role to organize people on its platform.
