Karachi journalist intends world cycling tour to raise HIV/AIDS awareness

Karachi: A journalist of Karachi intends to have a world cycling tour for promoting peace and raising awareness about HIV/ AIDS. Mohammad Azhar Gulzar is a journalist and writer and editor of Monthly Technologies Affairs, besides a committed cyclist. He has been working on HIV/AIDS awareness for one decade. He has already completed an all Pakistan cycling tour to raise on HIV/AIDS awareness in the year 2007.

He says that HIV/AIDS issue is a global concern and also a rising issue in Pakistan. He said he also wants to promote peace as per the UN charter to maintain peace & security in the world and promote the rights of all people for result for global health & development.

His proposed cycling route is Pakistan, Iran, Oman, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Egypt, Turkey, Greece, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Iceland, Germany, Netherland, Belgium, Luxembourg, UK, France, Spain, Portugal, Morocco, Egypt, China, Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Philippines, Brunei, Malaysia, Singapore, Republic of Palau, Indonesia ,Australia, New Zealand, USA and Canada.
