KMC receive proposals for construction of flats

KARACHI: KMC Metropolitan Commissioner Sajjad Hussain Abbasi said proposals for the project of construction of residential flats for KMC employees of grade-1 to 20 were received from renowned builders and now the 10 member committee will consider all these offers and set up the strategy for final approval of the project.

He said this while chairing a review meeting on the project of construction of residential flats for KMC employees which was attended by the director marketing public housing KDA wing Jamil Farooqui, director katchi abadies Sabah-ul-Islam, director welfare Jabbar Bhatti, Addl. Director Muhammad Zahid, Addl. Dy. Commissioner South Muhammad Khan Rind, Addl. Dy. Commissioner Korangi Wasimuddin, representatives of construction firms and other officers.

The Metropolitan Commissioner said interest of employees will be secured while working out the rules and conditions for this project and the payment schedule would be made easy.

He said flats of different categories will be constructed for KMC staff in suitable areas in the city.
