Peshawar: Khyber Medical University (KMU), Peshawar announced MBBS Third Professional Annual Examinations 2015 results. In the said exam total 1552 students of thirteen Public and Private sector medical colleges of the province were appeared in which 1022 declared successful. The overall passing ratio was 66 percent.
According to a gazette notification issued by Examination Section of the University Muzhda Subhan of Khyber Medical College (KMC), Peshawar secured 713 marks and stood first in the overall result, however Sana Gul of Rehman Medical College (RMC), Peshawar took 2nd Position with 698 marks and Zainab Javed of Ayub Medical College (AMC), Abbottabad with 697 marks got 3rd position.
In the MBBS third professional annual examination 2015 the passing ratio of KMC Peshawar was 81%, while that of Ayub Medical College Abbottabad 67%, Saidu Medical College Swat 85%, Gomal Medical College D.I. Khan 73%, Khyber Girls Medical College Peshawar 82%, Bannu Medical College, Bannu 79%, KMU-Institute of Medical Sciences Kohat 70%, Bacha Khan Medical College, Mardan 79%, Rehman Medical College Peshawar 79%, Women Medical College Abbottabad 45%, Pak International Medical College, Peshawar 44%, Abbottabad International Medical College Abbottabad 30% and
Jinnah Medical College, Peshawar was 24 percent.
Vice Chancellor KMU Prof. Dr. Mohammad Hafiz Ullah has congratulated all the successful students and wished that they will also continue their efforts for obtaining brilliant results in the upcoming examinations. He also appreciated the efforts carried out by the Examination Section of the University for ensuring standardization, transparency and introducing modern techniques of evaluation.
