KMU-ETEA Entrance Test for Admission in Medical and Dental Colleges held

Peshawar: Educational Testing and Evaluation Agency (ETEA)Entrance Test 2015 organized by Khyber Medical University (KMU) Peshawar for admissions in Medical and Dental Colleges of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was simultaneously held at Islamia Collegiate School ground Peshawar, Cricket Ground of University of Peshawar opposite Khyber Medical College Peshawar, Ayub Medical College Abbottabad, Grassy Ground Saidu Sharif Swat and University Wensem College D.I.Khan. The test was conducted by the Educational Testing and Evaluating Agency (ETEA) of Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while the logistics and administrative arrangements for the registration and conduction of the test were provided by Khyber Medical University (KMU) Peshawar.

A total of 22919 candidates including 13654 male and 9265 female candidates from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, FATA, Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan, Punjab, Baluchistan and Sindh appeared in the Entrance Test at the above mentioned five centers. The results of the test will be announced today (Thursday) and would be available on KMU website as well as on ETEA website in addition to that the result would also be communicated to the entire candidates individually via SMS on their mobile phone through specially prepared software by IT Section of KMU.

According to details at Islamia Collegiate School ground Peshawar 6400 candidates appeared in the test whereas at University of Peshawar cricket ground opposite KMC Peshawar 6624, Ayub Medical College, Abbottabad 3826 students, Grassy Ground Saidu Sharif Swat 3860 and at University Wensem College D.I.Khan Centre 2209 candidates appeared in the test for admission in medical and dental colleges of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The Vice Chancellor of KMU Prof. Dr. Mohammad Hafizullah, who was present on the occasion while talking to the media and staff expressed his satisfaction over the arrangements for the Entrance Test and said that increasing number of candidates for appearing in the ETEA Test shown a great trust on the arrangements and transparent process of the test carried out jointly by KMU and ETEA.

He lauded and thanked the efficient role of ETEA, KMU and UET staff, Police,Civil administration, authorities of University of Peshawar and Islamia Collegiate School, parents and especially candidatesfor their cooperation and support and hoped that this spirit will also be keep continue in future as well. VC University of Engineering & Technology (UET) Peshawar Imtiaz Hussain Gillani, Secretary Health Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mushtaq Jadoon and other key officers of KMU, ETEA and UET were also present at the occasion.
